This place had me begging for more! the burgers here are amazing I had 2 of them and boy was I satisfied!
Great and friendly staff at your service, the attention was un matched.
Will be coming here again real soon! -

A+ is the kind of place you read about on Yelp, you go to because it has 4.5 stars from 375+ reviewers, and you start to write your own 4- or 5-star review.
Then you realize it's really not a 5-star spot. I mean 5-stars for a burger is like really up there. Raoul's in NYC or Louis' in New Haven.
So you downshift to 4-stars in your review and you immediately realize A+ is not really 4-star fare either.
In fact, you realize the bun burst into shreds, the burger tasted overly charred / unjuicy, the onion rings lacked flavor, the French fries might have been made from potato powder, and they messed up the milkshakes.
It's a 3-star place. Unless you keep thinking about it and start peeling away one more star..... -

This place has been in my bookmarks for quite some time. After seeing the juicy burger, garlic fries pic from Yelp friends, Harvey K and Shayla B, I took a peek at their menu and saw they offer Korean rice or noodle bowls "Soul in a Bowl", along with burgers, chicken (grilled or fried), salmon, Impossible burgers and an eggplant Parmesan! Mmmmm...co-worker thought 'um that's weird...a Korean spot that sells burgers...heck let's try it"
Opted for the crispy chicken burgers (as we already had burgers this week) and a BBQ beef bowl. Both definitely hit the spot:
CRISPY CHICKEN BURGER
* crispy and crunchy exterior (lightly seasoned) and not overly breaded with panko...similar to a chicken katsu
* JUICY chicken breast, not dry!
* fresh, crisp lettuce, sliced red onions and tomatoes
* delicious house made, mayo-based sauce (that had a slight kick of sriracha...yummy but friend thought it had a little bit too much...for me, perfect!
Friend devoured his bbq beef bowl and ordered a side of sweet potato fries..."good portion, nicely seasoned meat and sweet potato fries to die for"....hmmm must be good...Lol. Garlic fries were delicious, crispy and pretty standard...no issue there but to me, onion rings were A-OK...seemed overly thick and doughy so it only had a slight crisp
Overall, great visit of delicious food, plenty of seating and easy to park in the lot or along the street! Definitely a return spot to try the infamous burgers and consider trying the onion rings again!
Note: Lemon bars available for dessert along with shakes! Yummy! -

This place is a true gem. It's a casual burger place serving DELICIOUS and affordable food at a very high quality. Probably the best burger place in the East Bay! Come support this immigrant business (owned by a Korean couple).
The A+ burger is absolutely delicious. It has a piece of fried eggplant in it, which really adds to the burger. Bun, lettuce and tomato are all good quality too.
The Menchi Katsu burger is also super unique and good. I loved the onion and teriyaki dressing over the shredded cabbage.
For the price, the serving size is quite generous. Fried are old-fashioned crinkle-cut - not my favorite shape but they always taste fresh and CRISPY. -

Instagrammable lovely but full of sugar. Got 2 of the A+ burgers. It is padded out with fried eggplant rounds and everything is slathered with what was supposed to be a bourbon sauce that tasted like a heavy, oversweetened, teriyaki sauce. Bourbon is my favorite whiskey, but all I tasted was sugar.
The good:
- Cooked on point
- Bun holds together
- Good quality ingredients
- Great appearance and presentation.
The bad:
- Pre-assembled. Make sure to tell them if you don't want specific items on your burger, like extremely harsh, sulfuric raw onions.
- Sweet sauce topping and way too much of it.
- Fries okay when hot but not so good as they cool.
- Onion rings are cut extra thick yet were mushy inside. Ugh.
- Canned flavored Pellegrino instead of bottles.
Big on the glitz, low on the beef. I want meat, not dessert.
